When we began this month, I took a very relaxed approach to our French lessons. I didn't want any kind of formal curriculum at first, but I didn't want Ella to forget everything she has been learning the past two years. My solution was to have her pick a new French word from her French-English dictionary each morning and write it on our whiteboard along with it's meaning and a sentence utilizing the new word. One morning, I walked into the office and found this:

Needless to say, Mom learned the most important lesson that day.
