Curious Minds Want To Know

First, for those of you curious about the cabbage, it is essentially a gut-healer.  I remember first reading about it with some elimination diet information, where they said it was very good if you know you have damage from food allergies and need some TLC.  Cabbage (especially cabbage juice) is recommended for ulcers, and it is claimed by some to have anti-inflammatory properties.   Remember how they say cabbage leave are good for nursing mothers dealing with engorgement?  Same principle.  Except reducing swelling and inflammation of internal tissues.  Also, if I remember correctly, it's a pretty good antioxidant.  Read more for yourself:

Not buying it?  That's ok.  If nothing else, it is super gentle and fits the "do no harm" motto when you're healing your digestive tract.  Which we've been doing a lot of with the little one.

(I'm totally filing this under science.  Come on, there has to be a science experiment somewhere in that information.)

Second, For those of you curious about our first month since we officially decided to homeschool, you can read about that today at The Homeschool Classroom. I promise I'm not talking about cabbage over there.
