If I wasn't already in love with Target, I picked up these dry erase lapboards for the girls for a dollar each. They have the handwriting lines on one side and are blank on the back. Plus I picked up some skinny dry erase markers on sale for $2. Score! The boards work wonderfully, so I actually went back and bought two extra in case they destroy these (they are essentially only thick cardboard, so it's a real possibility). Ella will even practice math without complaining if it's written on a white board!
They also had some dinosaur fact cards. Ok, we already have a couple sets of them and I'm sure they don't tell Ella anything she didn't already know, but she was thrilled with them anyway. We should be finished out prehistory unit this week, and I'll hopefully share more on that next week some time.
Speaking of our dinosaur unit, Harper's been getting in on the action by breaking out Ella's old toys which haven't seen the living room in years. She was a stomping fool on this day.
A little while back, we painted the office. Someone was extremely proud to stay up after her baby sister and help paint a wall.

Finally, I leave you with this picture, drawn by Ella.
I am trying to figure out when I birthed three extra children.
Not to mention teenaged wizards.
