5 Quick Questions (and answers)

First, a big thanks to Amy at Complete Knowledge  who gave me the Versatile Blogger Award.

Cool, huh?  And it's in our favorite color.  Extra coolness.

Only I did my 7 things not long ago, so I'm not sure I could do seven more right now.  So instead, I'm combining this with Kylie's tag from Our Worldwide Classroom.

Here are the questions from Kylie that I'm sharing with all of you.  Partly because I like answering questions (bring 'em on!) and partly because I have nothing else today.  Not really, I have stuff, just not enough time or the desire to upload pictures.  So, here are the questions:

1. Why Do You Blog? What's The Number One Reason You Keep On Doing It?
I have different blogs for different reasons.  I started this blog because the kids were taking over my personal/writing blog and it wasn't ALL About ME anymore.  And I needed one place that was all about me.  So, I moved them here.  Plus, I like having a place to share all of the fun stuf we're doing with other homeschoolers and family and friends who are curious about what we do all day.

2. Do you frequent online forums? If so how many do you visit regularly?
I visit secularhomeschool.com occasionally, but as much as I'd like to pop in there more often, I spend way too much time reading blogs to fully commit to a forum.  There are also a few fiction writing forums I visit from time to time, but I don't hang out much there either.  Same reason.

3. If you could visit anywhere, where would it be and why?
I want to spend a year in a little old house in the French countryside.  You know, one with vines growing up the sides of it.  Possibly a house older than my country.  The bonus of living there is that it is a hop, a skip, and a jump away from several other really cool places I'd like to visit.

4. What is your number one thing be it tangible or not that you could not do without in your homeschool?
That's a toss up.  I can't choose between my library card or my laptop/internet connection.  I think I could function without either if I had the other, but I simply could not do this without at least one of them.

5. Have you already started planning for Christmas?
Absolutely.  I even have a small stash of gifts growing in the closet.  I have to get a jump on this whole holiday thing if we're going to finish NaNoWriMo AND not lose our minds in December.  :)

Now, if you want to answer these too, consider yourself tagged!  Or take some time to visit the other fantabulous bloggers in my sidebar.  We'll be enjoying the cooler mornings and baking some fall treats this week.  Happy Wednesday!

  1. Hi Thanks for taking the time to respond to these. :-) I agree with the internet/library definitely the most important tools.
