Happy Holidays (and Cherry Bread!)

Still wondering what to make for breakfast tomorrow morning?  Whip up a loaf of this gfcf cherry bread today and sit back and enjoy the not-cooking in the morning.  I made a few small changes to the recipe: 1.) no glaze, just an extra step I didn't need, and it's sweet enough  2.) instead of the flours listed, I followed her suggestion and just used 2 cups of my own all purpose mix  3.)  almond extract instead of vanilla;  almond extract is a staple here for the holidays and goes great with cherries  4.)  instead of almonds in the bread, I slipped in some white chocolate chips

Oh.  Wow.  It is pure goodness.

I'm in the midst of finishing baking and gifting and making some killer white bean dip for tonight's family festivities.  I tell you, the music is rocking here and Christmas is falling out my holly jolly butt today.  In a good way.  Holding my breath and enjoying the ride.  I'll exhale some time next week.  :)
