If You Give a Girl a Skirt

 If you give a girl a skirt, . . .

(especially a pretty spring one made from $2 clearance fabric)

. . . she'll need a head scarf to go with it.

And once she makes a head scarf, she'll realize she has just enough fabric to make a little bag.

And once she makes that bag . . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

. . . she'll just want to make another skirt!

  2. We call it skirt therapy. It's been a rough couple of weeks. :)

No, I am pattern-impaired. I just cut the top a little smaller than the bottom, folded the top for elastic casing, and hemmed the length I wanted. Sort of a grown-up version of these (which my kids have lots of)

except I can't go selvage to selvage on big-hipped mama's skirts.
