Our fall "tree" needed some sprucing up.

So we painted some watercolor paper with autumn colors,
then traced and cut out leaf shapes.

We took turns saying things we are grateful for.

Harper's list included the color pink and worksheets.
Ella's list included dragons, books, and imaginary friends.

A nice transformation, yes?

I am also grateful for clearance racks at Michael's.
I picked up a box of foam Thanksgiving craft puppets.

You know, the kind of kit I would never normally buy, but I simply can't pass up a 50-cent activity that keeps my girls happy and busy (and not fighting) while I work beside them in the kitchen.

Today, I am grateful that the stomach virus that hit our house was a mild version.
And I am grateful for holiday pajama school.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

  1. We have an imaginary friend on our gratitude tree, too. :-) Today I am thankful for home-from-work husbands and nearby fabric stores.

Happy Thanksgiving, friend! I hope it's a calm and peaceful one.

  2. I can't tell you how much I miss micheals there is no such place in the uk hope everyone is feeling better now
